The last son of NERV
The man woke up in his room, after having been unconscious for so long . He has been in this room for as long as he knew.This was his home. You see the man remembered it all clear as day, 10 years ago Gendo ikari and and a woman named Luna had found him as a boy in the woods barley 12 years old, Gendo ikari they had took him in to NERV that very day and he was supposed to be a secret weapon against the angels but when he went to fight off the first one he was put into a coma and controlled by it to attract NERV that had lasted until today. As soon as he opened his eyes he grabbed his suit and threw it on. Worry for everyone for the people safety crossing his face instantly. “No! If I failed to stop the angel, if it controlled me then-” before the man could finish the thought Gendo ikari opened the door and the last son got into a salute as soon as he appeared.
“Mr.Ikari I apologise for my failures. I have no excuse.”
Gendo ikari's face stayed straight, but it took effort to have no joy on his face. The las son's reaction had confirmed that the eye had its intended effect. “It matters not. Just follow me to the main part of HQ it is time to introduce you to the rest.”
The last son nearly jumps rushes out the door. To his memory he had never left this room for a reason besides a mission before. ‘Yes sir!” he nearly shouts. As the last son followed behind Gendo ikari
“Now we can't exactly tell them everything. We are going to have to lie a bit to ensure the most benefit to every one.” Gendo Said to the last son.
The last son's smile refused to drop even an inch. Finally being allowed to meet pothers was all he ever wanted. “Understood sir. Ill keep it as secret as you order!”
Truth be told Gendo would have preferred to keep this a secret but it would have been near impossible to keep it unknown, no it's best to control it now. He entered NERV HQ main control center. where he had ordered many subordinates like misato and the eva pilots to come. The sound of discussions and As soon as the last son entered behind him the discussions ceased. Gendo broke the newly found silence “We have managed to convince the last son to help us in our fight against the angel. He was being manipulated by the other flying man into fighting us. We convinced him. You will work with him. That is all.” Gendo walked Away while everyone spoke not a word in the pure shock that had hit them all through the commander's few words.
Asuka was the first to speak only after the commander left . her hands curled into ball of anger “We have to work with the damn Ubermensch?!?!” she yelled fist slammed to her side. The last son raised his hands in surprise
“I-” he was forced to end his words before they began as Shinji jumped in.
“How are we supposed to trust him.” he asked in surprise, much less visible rage on his face although one could nearly see the bubbles beneath the surface.
Misato cleared her throat grabbing at the two's attention. “We can trust him and work with him because we have no other choice.” She made clear that the two will listen to their new orders.
The last son's head went up and down and up once more. “Yes I..I understand I caused…pain while under manipulation. But I intend to help everyone as much as I can.” The last Son said going along with Gendo Ikari
Shinji's own hand began to become a ball of rage before he relaxed it unconsciously, backing down. ¨FIne…"Shinji stated, not daring to confront his father.
¨Good, know last son you will begin training with Shinji and Asuka tomorrow." Tomorrow
An hour or so later the last son was walking back to his room. He saw a blue haired girl walking on the other side of the hallway. ¨Rei! Good to see you¨ the last son excitedly greets. He had known rei for years after all.
Rei looked at the man. Gendo had told her to greet him as if she had known him for years. ¨hello last son.¨ she said in her normal cold tone. Pausing her walk only a moment to speak to the man.
“I'm going back to my room. I guess you're doing the same?” the last son said to his long time friend.
“Yes” Rei says simply before continuing her walk to her room as the last son dose the same
Shinji and Auska were looking at each other in a reluctant agreement as they stood in Misato's home. “I can't believe Ikari is forcing us to work with that Ubermensch!” Asuka said as Shinji began to wash dishes of the meals he had cooked.
“It's not that bad..” He tried to convince not Asuka but himself.
Asuka's side eyed him in annoyance. “Oh please, even an idiot like you can't believe that he nearly killed us !” she stated “I don't care if he was being misled. He is an idiot just like you.”
Shinji's fist once again tightened and relaxed in a quick succession.
“Well you two will just have to work with it..” a slightly more sober than usual Misato said to them “Besides he always tried to not fight. Well until that last attack he and the other flying man did.” she said taking another gulp of her beer. Fully intent on no longer being slightly more sober than usual.
The Knight had returned home at last. His house in the same state he left it. He went to his bathroom and began to fix his face. It was mush pure alcatraz mater mush with only a single eye not part of the black mass. The knight had done a quick fix but his emotion and grief over allowing his friend to be lost once more had caused it to melt once more while he had gotten home but it was time to attempt to fully return it to normal. shaped his other eye first than his nose and mouth that he began to color correct eyes no longer face no long black. He finally looked back to the mirror and he appeared human once more. He was himself once more. “I will not lose myself again. I will stop them without doing what I had to do last time. There is still time.”
